Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling 1st In Hardware, Inc. Shipping Policy is that we will normally process and ship any IN STOCK item(s) within 2 business days once orders have been received and confirmation of payment has been processed.

Any out of stock items that we have to order will be subject to additional shipping charges that will include shipping IN from the supplier and OUT to your address. The customer is responsible for all IN and OUT shipping charges.
Shipping charges are based on weight and destination, residential and commercial rates apply.

The Shipping charges applied to your order are only an estimated amount and may increase pending if item has to be ordered from the factory or supplier(s). A sales person will contact you to inform you of any increases or changes in the shipping rates shown on your original order.

Delivery Schedule We will normally process your order within 2 business days. Once processed and confirmation of payments have been received we will ship the materials ordered. In Stock items will normally ship within 2 business days once orders are received and processed.

Any Back Ordered items will be shipped and billed out separately when they are received.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order those items for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

SPECIAL ORDER items that generally are made to order, or not stocked by the factory will always be placed as a Back Order item. All SPECIAL ORDER items will be paid for IN FULL prior to placing the order(s) with the factory or our supplier(s).

Some SPECIAL ORDER items may take as much as 8 or more weeks depending on the production and assembly at the plant. 1st In Hardware, Inc. has no control over when the orders are processed at the factory.

There are NO CANCELLATIONS on any SPECIAL ORDER items. All sales are final and NO RETURNS or REFUNDS on any SPECIAL ORDER item(s).

Tax Charges For orders made from within the United States sales tax will be apllied to all in state orders. Our business is operated from Maryland. All other orders are tax free, please make sure to click the exempt box to reduce tax to zero.

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Damaged or defective products can only be returned with prior notice and reason for returns. All returns must have an RMA number issued. The manufacturer will determine if product is under warranty. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs for returns to 1st In Hardware, Inc, out to the Manufacturer and then shipping back to 1st In Hardware, Inc. and then return shipping to your address. All product returns are subject to a restocking fee based on manufacturers or suppliers restocking charges.

All web orders have a 30 day return policy. NO RETURNS AFTER 30 DAYS.
